Meet Our Owner
Amy Wilson is an award-winning teacher with over 15 years of professional experience in the classroom. In addition to working with gifted students, she has served as a teacher support specialist, assisted school administrators in program audits and the comprehensive gifted testing process, been a panel leader for DeKalb County's parent support group for the gifted, written successful grants to obtain funding for school projects, participated on a committee of 11 selected educators to rewrite and develop the policies and procedures for the DeKalb County Gifted program, served as assistant principal of summer school program, and advised future K-8 teachers as an adjunct college professor.
An active member of her community with a strong interest and involvement in philanthropy, Amy co-ordinated over 250 community volunteers in a Hands On Atlanta event.
Amy has a Master of Education in Elementary Education with Certificates in Gifted Teacher Support and Administration. She also has a Specialists Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from a private university.
Amy is currently the Executive Director of a private foundation which specializes in children's educational needs.
Amy lives Atlanta with her husband and three children.
